OITNB (Netflix)

I was honored to direct the episode “God Bless America” for the final season of the Emmy-Award-winning Orange is the New Black. Written by incredible @carolapaiz , the episode won a Sentinel Award for its work depicting immigration issues.  When The New Yorker’s Emily Nussbaum raved about the final season, she singled out this episode, writing: “I sobbed my way through several episodes, especially the brilliant eleventh one, titled “God Bless America.”  Aw.  Thanks Emily.  Glad we made you cry.
